The HTTP method is specified by using the method attribute when sending details.  It can accept two prices: GET and POST.  The GET method retrieves the details from the form, adds it to the end of the URL and sends it to the server.  


Details in the POST method are sent in block form via HTTP transaction.  Details are sent with the request.  This method has no limit on the length of the details.  The default value of the method characteristic is GET.  Insertion elements are used to add various fields such as radio button, trackbox and rockbox to the Input Element form.  


This component can be implemented using the <input> ... </inpu> or just the <input> tag.  The <inpute tag is used with attributes such as typc, name and value.  The field to be added to the form is specified by the type characteristic along with the input component.  The name attribute is used to name the fields in the form. 


 The value attribute is used to represent a field in a form with a predetermined value.  Table 1.1 illustrates these characteristics with its use.  Type Radio Explanation Creates a radio button in the Example form.  From the group of radio buttons <INPUT TYPE = "radio" NAME only one radio button at a time can be selected = "var" VALUE = "txt">.  


The radio button is usually used to select an option from a group of options.  Creates a checkbox in the Checkbox form.  It is also possible to select more than one <INPUT TYPE = "checkbox" checkbox.  The checkbox is used to select more than one option in a given group of options NAME = "var" VALUE = "txt">.  Creates a test field to add text to a text form.  <INPUT TYPE = "text" The user can add any desired details to the test field NAME = "var" VALUE = "txt">.  Password |  Creates a password field in the form.  


This field test is similar to the <INPUT TYPE = "password" field, but the characters added to it are not displayed to the user NAME = "var">.  Instead the letters are converted to unreadable form.  Creates a submit button in the form.  When the Submit button is clicked <INPUT TYPE = "submit", the details entered in the form are sent to the given file with the action characteristic used with the form VALUE = "label"> component  Creates a reset button in the form.
